The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag

Hey everyone! Today is September 1st and it’s time to back to Hogwarts! To celebrate this memorable day (and to mark this as my very first post!) I want to do The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag!  I found this tag over Destiny’s blog and I knew I have to do it as well. I haven’t re-read or re-watch the Harry Potter franchise for quite a while, so it’s thrilling to do this tag and remind myself that I’m a massive Potterhead and I used to be obsessed with everything Harry Potter related (I still am, though). So, here we go!
1. Favorite book?
This one comes easy! It’s the Prisoner of Azkaban since it’s the first Harry Potter book that I owned (back when I was nine years old). I also loved it because we got Sirius’s first appearance in this book and eventually learned that Harry still has a family. :’)
2. Least favorite book?
Ugh, I don’t really think I have one until I got this question. But, if I really have to choose, it’s probably Order of Phoenix. I don’t really have any particular reason except for Sirius’ death.
3. Favorite movie?
Goblet of Fire! I think it’s amazing that we got glimpse of Quidditch World Cup here, how everyone was super hyped about it and also the appearance of other magical schools.

4. Least favorite movie?
It’s going to be Order of Phoenix again. A combination of Sirius’ death and visualization of Dolores Umbridge? No, thank you.
5. Favorite quote?
“I hope you’re pleased with yourselves. We could all have been killed — or worse, expelled. “. Ms.Granger really got her priority right!

6. Favorite Weasley?
It used to be Fred and George back then, but since I watched more of Domnhall Gleeson’s filmography recently, it slowly turned to Bill. I wish he got more screen time, though!
7. Favorite female character?
Minerva McGonagall! She’s super bad-ass, very smart, is a cat and (definitely) a cat person too, unexpected (“Have a biscuit, Potter.”), has a resting bitch face 99% of the time, hate Umbridge (probably more than us), is super excited about the Yule Ball, and of course, is a queen of alliteration (“I will not have you, in one night, besmirching that name by behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons!”).
8. Favorite villain?
I think most of us will agree that it’s going to be Draco Malfoy.
9. Favorite male character?
This one is predictable but Sirius Black, it is. Despite of my emotional connection over his character because of Prisoner of Azkaban, he’s a great father figure that Harry has been long missed. I also loved the fact that he’s not being overprotective to Harry and allowed him to know about everything that has been going on, because if there’s one person who has the most right to know about those movement against Voldemort, it is Harry.

10. Favorite professor?
McGonagall, for sure. Although, I’m pretty sure that I’d failed in two seconds if I ever take her class.
11. Wash Snape’s hair, or spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself?
Snape all the way. I’ll fall asleep in 2 minutes if I choose Lockhart.
12. Duel an elated Bellatrix, or an angry Molly?
I’m terrified of Bellatrix, so angry Molly, then. I got zero opportunity if I have to duel with either of them, but at least Molly looks nicer.
13. Travel to Hogwarts via Hogwarts Express or a flying car?
Hogwarts Express, of course. You got to snacking all the way to Hogwarts!

14. Kiss Voldemort, or give Umbridge a bubble bath?
Um, hi, Voldy…
15. Ride a hippogriff, or ride a firebolt?
Firebolt because I think I’ll be chicken out in front of a hippogriff.
16. Is there a character you felt differently about in the movies versus the books?
Aside from calm Dumbledore vs angry Dumbledore in the Goblet of Fire? Not really, I guess. I also haven’t re-read the books for years, so I can’t recall the differences very well.
17. Is there a movie you preferred over its book?
I think it’s probably Goblet of Fire. The visualization of action packs are priceless!
18. Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?
I’d say Michael Gambon, but I can’t deny Richard Harris’ version of Dumbledore is really adorable and funny and a lot more like the books.
19. Your top thing (person or event) which wasn’t included in the movie that annoyed you the most?
Peeves! And the majority of Potterhead are probably answering the same.
20. If you could remake any of the Potter movies, which would it be?
None. They aren’t perfect but they are irreplaceable.
21. Which house was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of?
I always guess I’d be a Hufflepuff, just because I always thought that I’m not very brave, neither intelligent or ambitious.
22. Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore?
I guessed it right. Hufflepuff!
23. Which class would be your favorite?
Charms. Can’t wait to use all of them to make life easier!
24. Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?
Accio, Lumos and Nox.
25. Which character do you think you’d instantly become best friends with?
I think Ron and I will get along pretty well. Procrastinate homeworks, big appetite, afraid of spiders (any bugs in my case), and having no idea what’s going on 90% of the time.

26. If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be?
The cloak of invisibility. I’m an introvert and will use it 24/7 whenever I need to recharge myself from being social.
27. Is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change?
Not really.
28. Favorite marauder?
Sirius!
29. If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?
Either Sirius (because Harry needs him), or Remus (because Teddy needs him), or Fred (because George needs him). Oh well, I can’t decide after all.
30. Hallows or horcruxes?
Hallows! Who in their right mind will choose horcruxes and voluntarily split their soul in pieces? Not me.
There you have it! That was fun to answer and it definitely makes me want to re-read and re-watch everything. I tag every Potterhead who came across this post. It’s your turn now!
